What We Do

We Are Here For You!

At The Arc of Oklahoma, advocacy is action. We champion equal rights, access to services, and community inclusion through direct support, education, and grassroots efforts. Our programs impact nearly every aspect of life for people with IDD and their families, from early childhood to adulthood.

Our Core Programs & Services

Each of our initiatives is designed to empower, educate, and advocate for Oklahomans with IDD:

  • Advocacy & Public Policy: Fighting for legislation and policies that expand opportunities and protect the rights of people with IDD.

  • Family Support: Providing special education advocacy, crisis intervention, caregiver support, and navigation services for Medicaid, SSI, and housing.

  • Self-Advocacy: Equipping people with IDD to speak up, lead, and engage in their communities.

  • Residential Advocacy: Monitoring the quality of life in state-funded residential programs to protect individuals from neglect and ensure dignity and choice.
