Job Title: Bilingual Resource Coordinator

Come join us in the fight for inclusion! We are seeking a Full Time Bilingual Resource Coordinator in Tulsa or Oklahoma City.
About You:
Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)? Do you enjoy linking families to resources and navigating systems of support to ensure families gain access to the help they need and deserve?
Do you see value in training family members and caregivers to overcome the myriad of challenges students and families face, enabling them to advocate for their child in varying community contexts?

How You Will Make an Impact:

You will assist clients and their families in navigating and seeking services from complex systems, such as public and private schools, state departments, agencies, and other resources.

You will lead monthly support group for bilingual caregivers of individuals with IDD.

You will collaborate with program coordinators to ensure program materials are appropriately translated and identify gaps in services, training, and support for bilingual families with IDD.

You will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including agencies, businesses, school districts, community organizations, and individuals with IDD and their families.

You will represent The Arc on community partnership committees and boards.

You will work with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote training opportunities and increase participation from bilingual families.

You will create a comprehensive, bilingual resource directory for staff and clients.
Skills and Qualifications: (even if you do not meet these skills 100%, we still welcome you to apply)

Demonstrated knowledge of intellectual and developmental disabilities and related issues, especially the impact of IDD on bilingual families.

Experience in training delivery, including online and blended learning formats.
-
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
-
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.
-
Experience in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms
Requirements:
-
Proficient in English and Spanish

Bachelor’s Degree
-
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the education or human service field.
-
Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local programs that serve people with developmental disabilities and the regulations and laws that govern those programs.
