WHAT WE DO

Family Support

A Lifeline for Families

Caring for a loved one with IDD can be rewarding but overwhelming. The Arc of Oklahoma is here to help.

Our Family Support Program provides free, personalized assistance to individuals with IDD and their families, including:

✔ Help navigating Medicaid, housing, and disability benefits (SSI/SSDI).

✔ Special education support and advocacy.

✔ Crisis intervention & advocacy for urgent situations.

✔ Support groups for parents & teens to connect and share experiences.

We believe that families should have access to counseling, respite care, training, and financial assistance to prevent burnout and help loved ones with IDD live independently.

You are not alone. Let us support you. Call us at 888-970-6459.
