Volunteer with The Arc of Oklahoma

At The Arc of Oklahoma, inclusive volunteerism brings people of all abilities together to serve our community with dignity, respect, and purpose. Inclusive volunteering means ensuring everyone — including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) — has meaningful opportunities to serve and contribute.

Inspired by the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., we believe service is strongest when everyone has a place to contribute.

Our MLK Season of Service continues year-round. Thank you to Americorps and The Arc of the United States for making our season of service possible!

Inclusive service. Real impact. Everyone belongs.

How to Volunteer (It's Just Two Steps)

Step 1: Complete Our Volunteer Survey
This helps us create inclusive, accessible volunteer experiences for everyone.
Each volunteer only needs to complete the survey one time.

Step 2: Sign Up for Service Dates

Choose dates that work for you. Service dates are scheduled through the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s volunteer system.

When you click our Volunteer Sign-Up Button you'll be taken to their site:

  • You’ll be asked to sign in or create a free account

  • You can sign in using email, or with Google, Facebook, Apple, or Microsoft

  • If using email, you can choose to receive a sign-in link or use a password

If this process is a barrier for you or you want to sign up multiple people, email us and we’ll assist you.

Our Partnership with the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

The Arc of Oklahoma partners year-round with the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma to offer inclusive volunteer opportunities that address food insecurity across our region.

Volunteer activities may include sorting, packing, and distribution support. Tasks are adaptable, and volunteers can participate standing, seated, or with accommodations.

If you need accessibility support, please let us know — we’re happy to help.
